Week 1 Blog
Part 1: My name is Lorena Rubio. I am in my 5th year teaching and currently teaching 1st grade Dual Language. I enjoy teaching but have found an interest in technology! I would love to work with more of the aspect of technology within the education field. Super excited to start! Part 2: In my district, the rubric used is the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS). https://teachfortexas.org/ This evaluative rubric is used yearly, uses a scale to rate from improvement needed to distinguish and provides descriptions that are specific under each category for the specific rating. The administrators use these rubrics to evaluate teachers in different settings or data such as observations, walkthroughs, artifacts, student growth and analyzing student data.
