5333-Week 5 Blog
Discuss your progress on the digital story. What is your plan to be prepared to share your story during the 7th week of class? What do you need assistance with?
Based on the feedback I plan to elaborate on the special bond between my grandmother and I. I also plan to add more pictures and/or videos. My plan to be prepared to share my story is to fine tune the presentation.
Review the resources for this week and discuss potential application tools for the production of your story or use with students in your classroom.
I plan to explore the application tools to identify which is the best fit for my digital story. My first go-to application tool was Screencastify just because I am familiar with it. Yet, I have seen many different engaging application tools that have captivated me as the audience.
In preparation for the Digital Storytelling in your Community Assignment due next week. Discuss the following:
Who is the authentic audience for your story? Who will be impacted by it? In what ways might this story resonate with this audience?
My authentic audience would be elementary students. The impact would be for those students that have lost a loved one and wanting to honor their memory by creating a digital story.
What skills and knowledge have you developed as you create your story?
The skills that I have developed to create my story is creating a story map that then transitions to script with photographs and/or images, then to the end product that will be presented at the end.
You have a good plan in place for completing your story. Are you going to use any music or transitions within the story?
ReplyDeleteI will look at Screencastify; I'm not familiar with it and looking for user-friendly tools to help me. Like you, I have been captivated by some of the stories we've seen and the technology used to create them. Adobe Spark seems to be a user-friendly tool, and I also came across Wevideo. I will use the next week to play with several applications to see which will meet our needs for this assignment. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's stories.
Screencastify is also another good option. I am familiar with that and Loom. I can not wait to see your final product!
