The type of story I plan to share is a remembrance. The purpose of this story is to honor my grandmother’s life and share the impact she was and continues to be in my personal life.
For the Story elements, I am still unclear of what to include and how to explain them. The only one I have figured out is the Question: Would you consider your grandmother to be an asset to your life? Why or why not?
The mapping approach I plan to use is the two-column story table to layout and facilitate the creation of dialogue and visuals.
I would use this story in an educational setting to facilitate discussions about a beloved loved one that has made or continues to make an impact in their life.
The content standards addressed are Social Studies TEKS 1.18AB “The student is expected to express ideas orally based on knowledge and experiences and create and interpret visual and written material.”(TEKS). The Technology standards addressed are 1.6b “Students create original works or responsibly repurpose or remix digital resources into new creations.” (ISTE)
I am familiar with Screencastify which I have used in the past for education videos and then easily upload them to Youtube. I would like to learn more about the voice over websites or tools to add to the story.
I would like to produce my story with interactive animation.
To assess digital stories I plan to include a rubric with audience engagement, fluidity of the story, and questions answered at the end.
Any Feedback or suggestion would gladly be appreciated!
I will have to take a look at Screencastify. All of the technology is new to me. I am also looking forward to learning more about voice-over tools to consider for my story. I look forward to seeing your story; the interactive animation sounds engaging and creative. I don't have that much creativity. So, I'm going to stick with using photos.
ReplyDeleteScreencastify is also a technology that I am familiar with. I am still in decision on the the digital portion of my story. So the focus is on the story. I look forward to seeing your story. My grandma was integral part of my life and I am sure yours was significant in yours.
