In 2014, Jones and Dexter stated that when a holistic approach for technology learning for teachers is approached, there is greater success because it provides different learning types such as formal, informal and independent learning. Planning for professional development is tedious but very important therefore it is important to plan with school leaders to effectively provide learning and collaboration opportunities for teachers. The topic covered for the technology plan would be to address the gap on the effective use and implementation of technology and technology resources to support the Spanish language in the Dual language classroom.

Teacher and student learning need to be aligned so the teacher is better equipped to support current and ongoing practices within the classroom. I think it is important for constant refreshers and for teachers to be able to access and view the students' side of the technology and/or program. Some support may arise til the situation occurs and there are constant updates so there still will be a learning curve with online programs and technology.

Teachers must be able to understand the device the students will use to better support and what softwares or programs are ideal. I think it is important to troubleshoot or provide a help desk ticket if other situations arise that are not able to be resolved. Familiarity with the current online programs and how to troubleshoot.

Current practices with the school are weekly grade level planning, weekly or biweekly Collaborative teams meetings, staff meetings, and monthly Cheetah circle committees. This year the Dual Language Program was revamped with new consultants and coordinator, therefore what had happened the previous year changed. Professional development was organized at the beginning, through the school year, and a wrap up at the end with a reflective piece considering glows and grows. During the professional development, a full lesson plan structure was followed with a look fors

observations and coaching sessions. I benefited from the structure provided because it allowed exposure and opportunity to create or modify a future lesson with the skill taught.

The technology Implementation Plan will transform student and community learning within the district because it will allow a faster rate of scoring and provide feedback or strategies to implement.
